Room Seven was founded in 1994 by Brechtje Olsthoorn. This Holland-based company actually began and ran as a bedding and accessory collection until the founder had her own children in 2003. It was then that a children?s clothing line was added to the growingly popular bedding company.
Ms. Olsthoorn had grown up watching her mother and father design and create the Dutch Children?s Brand, Oilily. Room Seven consisted of a colorful mix of checks and prints, and is now sold in 30 countries around the world.
