Nursery Preparation: Baby Crib Bedding Sets

What a great joy and excitement a new baby can bring to you. You know at that moment, you want to give your baby a great love and care. For that reason, you would want your baby to have his own safe and clean baby crib. Therefore preparing the nursery is a part of that and preparing the baby crib bedding will always be part of your routine. You know that this is where your baby will sleep and as a way of giving your love and care to your baby, you will give him a safe, clean and comfortable place to sleep. There are many ways to prepare the baby crib bedding and in here I will give you a step by step process in preparing for the baby crib bedding. By following the eight simple steps, you can be sure that your baby is safe and is sleeping soundly every time he does.

Here are eight steps on how to prepare baby crib bedding:

1.)The first step is to lower the side of the crib. You must make sure that the frame of the crib is in proper position. The lower part notches of the crib are for babies who can already stand up and the high notches of the crib are for newborn babies. You must make sure that the notches are stable. This will ensure the safety of the baby.

2.)For vinyl-coated mattresses, wipe the mattresses with a wet cloth. To ensure the cleanliness of the baby crib bedding, you can wipe the mattress with some alcohol to kill germs or bacteria that might be in it then wipe the mattress with a dry towel.

3.)The next step is to place the mattress into the crib. In doing so, make sure that there will be no spaces left between the rails and the mattress. This is to ensure that the baby crib bedding that you are preparing will be safe for your baby.

4.)For baby crib bedding with a mattress cover, just put the mattress cover over the mattress. Make sure that the cover will be fitted well enough for your mattress. A lousy placed mattress cover can make your baby feel uncomfortable.

5.)This step is optional for your baby crib bedding but it is a recommended step. You can add a pad at the center of the mattress which will serve as an extra layer. This can aid in protecting your mattress cover and your mattress from diaper leaks.

6.)Now, cover the mattress, the mattress cover and the pad with the crib sheet. Make sure that the crib sheet is always clean.

7.)Raise the side of the crib and clip (or tie) the crib railing to the bumper pads. Don?t forget to align the top edges of the mattress to the bottom edges of the pads.

8.)Put a baby quilt or a light baby blanket over the sheet.

Those are the eight steps in preparing a baby crib bedding. It is easy to follow and it is safe for your baby. Enjoy!
